i started to listen to music!
since i moved
to the states somehow i’d lost all the interest and passion about music for a
long time except Christian music. one day i realized that i didn’t know
anything about recent music and didn’t even know what to listen.i used to love
Jazz but now i don’t know who’s good or whose album i should buy. i tried many
internet radio stations to figure it out but they are always with random songs
which i am never satisfied with. i wanted to keep the titles of songs i liked,
and wanted hear them whenever I wanted. Well, yeah, it’s only possible with
ipod which i didn’t have. So.. i just kinda gave up for a while, sharing Eugy‘s unsatisfying(?) songs from her
iTunes.lately i
started listen to music, even with a lot of fun and joy. i found this service, Qbox.com! hmmm.. actually they found me.(I’ll tell you this story later..) even
though i’ve used last.fm or pandora this qbox
thing is totally different. It’s like google of music! plus, i can finally have
my own list or album with unlimited # of songs I love.a good thing
about this service is that i don’t have to think about the legal issues about
mp3 files. because it’s using music from myspace, youtube, bebo, hi5 and
something like that. basically it plays and saves the links of all the music
which artists or bloggers want us to enjoy for free.
and the best of
qbox (to me) is this crazy feature called Emotional Link. i don’t know
about the technical stuff but one thing i know is that it provides me all kinds
of music i’d love. it analyzes my favorite music and recommends random songs
from all kinds of genres. and of course, i can save them and make my own music lists
to enjoy later.it also provides music player which you can see on my xanga so i can
have free background music.
oh one more exciting and different thing, when you find good music on YouTube, you can save(or add) it on your qbox page and the qbox player instantly so that you can listen to that music later whenever you feel like to. you can even use those music you saved as your backgound music on your xanga, like i do.man, it’s like
advertisement of qbox.
just try it
out.
you can learn
how to use it easily and intuitively from this link. <click here>i hope you also
enjoy this totally cool music life!

I got kind of excited about this thing and went to try it out. they don’t have a music player for macs! whatever….looks like I’m back to buying cd’s, using emusic, and illegally downloading for my music. (notice how I reversed the order of that to hide my real order of operation?)
Awesome!!
I’m so totally downloading that!
OOOoooo I’ll have to try it, I still use Pandora, but they only have a limited number of songs and they kinda play them over and over…
oppa! you got on the Xanga homepage YAY!
i’m going to have to check out all these links you ahve on here! i love music as well! i listen to all types of different music! i love it! but recently i just started to enjoy classical music and couintry as well! ehehhe
if you like classical music, check out music by yann tiersen! his music is amazing!
I have just started with Xanga, but they say it is never to late to teach an old dog new tricks. I am not a dog, but probably considered older.
Music is everything. One should never leave music out of their life. =)
Bossanova and lounge are good.
no much better than that ones…
i forgot to mention one more thing. when you find a good song from youtube, myspace, hi5 or bebo, you can also clip and save the music on your qbox page and listen to those music anytime. and also you can use all the songs you like as your background music of your blog. look at my xanga main page!
thank you so much, ethan!
haha, finally!!! someone thinks my “geurinnae” post was funny!! nobody gets that joke! maybe they have to watch the drama….lol, thanks for the comment though.
i haven’t hear many good songs out there lately…but i like to listen to: corinne bailey rae, il divo (recommended to me by maryanne), imogen heap, tearliner (korean), epik high….usually a lot of really good hip hop songs come out in the summer if you watch this show called “so you think you can dance.” me and maryanne have been addicted to that show for a couple years now and they have all the latest stuff to coreograph their dances to.
xanga mini…new feature.
are the architects being nice to you?? hahaha.
@BuBbLy_aZn_LuV - thanks a lot for your recommendation! i’ve loved his music but just didn’t know that they were from him! I feel like i just found a treasure island.
@janetheprincess - lately i’m falling in love with bossa nova and lounge. i don’t know how i lived without music that long.
@Dianna30 - they are so nice to me! haha i’m so sad to leave them soon.
